YOUR TALENTS HAVE NOT GONE UNNOTICED

We understand

It can be especially difficult for people who experience economic exclusion and marginalisation to find work, even if they are highly educated and experienced.

We help individuals who experience economic exclusion and marginalisation to access meaningful, rewarding and valuable work by leveraging the skills and talents that they already have. We actively look at ways of optimising such opportunities to maximise the benefit experienced by the individuals we work with and the wider society in which they live.

Our

mission

01. CAN I BE A CHATTERBOX COACH?

First things first, our language Coaches do not need previous teaching experience.

What we are looking for, is individuals who feel that they have experienced economic exclusion and/or marginalisation in their efforts to find and retain work opportunities that are valuable to them.

Primarily, we’re want to hear from individuals who are:

  • Refugees or asylum seekers with right to work

  • parents returning to work after a career break

  • aged 50+

Additionally, our Coaches need to have:

  • a good level of spoken English (so that you’re able to communicate with others in your day-to-day Coach role)

  • education to a degree level

  • a desire to teach their native language to others

We advertise all of our open work opportunities, across the organisation, on our careers site. If you’re interested in becoming a Coach, or working with us in any other capacity that might be a better fit for you, take a look at our open positions and apply now!

Our programme

Chatterbox helps individuals who experience economic exclusion and marginalisation to access enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding work so that they can use their skills to benefit both themselves and society.

“Chatterbox gave me the opportunity to relocate my experience in teaching and my knowledge in Arabic. After my good experience with Chatterbox, I decided to pursue my studies, enrolling in a TAFL PostDip at SOAS. Chatterbox supported me in my application and wrote a reference to the university which really helped.”

— MOHAMMAD ASI, CHATTERBOX COACH
